Friends of Yokota West - Booster Club

Friends of Yokota West Elementary School Club is established to provide administrative and financial support to the students, staff, and programs of Yokota West Elementary School. The club, which functions like a PTA, allows parents the opportunity to become involved with our school through volunteering for special activities. Special activities and events include: “Hot Dog, We’re Back!” (an Open House/Hot Dog Social), Fall and Spring Scholastic Book Fairs, Family Fun Nights, Dr. Seuss Night, author visits, maintaining a school store, Nihon Matsuri (an amazing cultural event unique to YWES), and many more special events. All money earned supplements the normal school budget. Parent participation is needed to help with a variety of projects. Meetings are announced in the Crane Newsletter and all parents and guardians are encouraged to get involved in the meetings and functions sponsored by the Friends of Yokota West Elementary School Club

Upcoming activities and events that require parent volunteers include:

  • Dr. Seuss Night (March 5th)
  • Spring Scholastic Book Fair (April)
